Jeff Dee is an experienced Open Format DJ and Turntablist based out of Toronto, Canada. As a kid, Jeff showed love for all types of music and an admiration of DJ’ing in particular. Starting his own DJ journey at a very young age accumulating his first set of turntables, a mixer and playing whatever records he had at his disposal, Jeff had a passion for beats, making people dance, and to perform in front of crowds.
Developing his craft during the 1990’s DJ battle era, Jeff Dee credits the likes of heavy hitting DJ crews Invisibl Skratch Piklz, The Beat Junkies, X-Men, and The Allies for inspiration to not just play other artist’s music, but to trick mix/scratch/beat juggle to create music, and your own sound. As a skilled and versatile artist, Jeff Dee is able to mix in and out of all musical genres in true “Open Format” fashion with style and ease. His vast music knowledge and ability to read the crowd allows him to create that perfect vibe and occasionally surprise the audience with a banger they forgot about.
Leveraging his roots in DJ battling and technical expertise on the turntables, and mashing that together with a diverse repertoire of music styles, Jeff Dee has entertained crowds at many venues and events spanning across the GTA.
